Fancy brussels sprout pasta

KIRK: What’s for dinner?
ME: Pasta with brussels sprouts
ME: Or would you rather have something else?
KIRK: Nooo… Could you maybe bacon it up a little?

Not only did I bacon it up, I added a few extras to my usual pancetta-garlic-brussels sprout* pasta: leeks, prosecco and cream.

Fancy schmancy. Ok, not really.

* I like the idea of pulling the leaves off the sprouts but have never felt like actually doing it. Instead I just slice the brussels sprouts thinly.
